What do your photography packages include?
All our packages include professional digital photography, unlimited images, your own webpage displaying your images for family and friends to view

and your choice of
Photobook Album (A4 hardcover book, images printed on page, 4 images to a page)
Leather album (A3 leather album, lab printed images, image size 3.5”x5”)
Images on DVD (In high resolution format and copyright free)
Images presented in presentation box

How much are your photography packages?
Our packages are based on the number of hours that you need us for on your wedding day.  The average wedding is 4-5 hours which normally covers preceremony images of bride at house, preceremony of groom at ceremony location, ceremony, family images, large group shot of all guests, bridal party and bridal couple images at one location, mock cutting of the cake, bride and groom being announced at reception, guests having a laugh and chat, general atmosphere of reception room including all the finer details.  1/2 an hour into reception.

How many images do I get?
Generally for an average wedding of 4 hours you receive 90% of the images that we take on the day (we always take out the weird facial expressions and the blinkers).  In 4 hours we would shoot between 500-600 images, however this depends on the wedding.  We have shot many more than these particular weddings and a few less on others.

Can you do a quote for my wedding photography?

How long does it take to receive images after wedding day?
Generally we will contact you within 3-4 weeks following your wedding day to arrange delivery of your images.

How do I order prints and products after my wedding day?

Do you have payment plans?
Yes!  20% deposit secures your wedding day and then the remaining balance is payable either in monthly instalments (we send you a monthly invoice) or at least two weeks prior to the wedding day.  To view examples of our payment plans please click here.  To view the full terms and conditions please click here

Do you charge interest or administration fees on your payments plans?
No.

How can I pay for my photography?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, bank transfers, cash (on appointment only), cheques and money orders.

Are all your prices inclusive?
We believe in being totally upfront about what our packages include and for how much.  No hidden costs!

How do I know if you are available for my wedding day?

Can I make an appointment to meet you and view your images and products

Do you have a studio where the appointment is held?
No, we come to you!  Any suburb, any day (except wedding days) or time.

How do I know the photographer I meet at my appointment will be the one on my wedding day?
We believe it is very important for you to meet your photographer prior to your wedding day to ensure that you "click" and they are suitable for the type of wedding photography that you want.  On the completion of your appointment we will print a wedding agreement which contains all of the information that we have discussed and your photographer will be listed at the top.

I've seen a product with another photographer that you don't have, can you offer it as well?
Just let us know what product it is and we can generally source it (or something very similar).

How long have you been a wedding photographer
Jacqui is the owner of Melbourne Wedding and Portrait Photography and performs the majority of the wedding photography.  She has more than 10 years experience photographing weddings and portraits.

Do you have other photographers working for you
Yes.  During our busy wedding seasons we have other photographers who also capture our weddings.  We always ensure that the photographers that we use are of a compatible style of Melbourne Wedding and Portrait Photography and have a high standard of quality and service.

How do my family and friends view my images
As part of all our packages we include your own webpage through mwpp.com.au, this displays all of your images included in your album or on your DVD.  As there is always a substantial number of images, these images are in low resolution.

How do my family and friends order reprints
By going to your complimentary webpage your family and friends can either order prints and products online or they can complete a manual order form available on webpage.

What kind of camera equipment do you use?
We use high quality professional Canon digital equipment and accessories.  We always carry back up equipment of every wedding.

Are the images available in colour and black&white?
As the images are captured digitally the original images are in colour, however unless you specify otherwise you will generally receive 80% of the images in colour and the remaining 20% in black and white.

Do you digitally enhance the images before we receive them in the album or on DVD?
We colour correct the images prior to printing or burning onto your DVD.  No other digital manipulation is performed however this can be discussed with us further at your wedding appointment.

If I purchase a DVD containing my images are they in low or high resolution and can I print any images that I want from the disc?
The DVD contains images that have been downloaded from camera and colour corrected.  The image dimensions and resolution is not changed from the high resolution it is captured in.

I'm not sure what photography locations to use for my wedding photography, can you suggest any?
As we've doing wedding photography for over 10 years we have photographed in most areas around Melbourne and can always suggest the perfect location for your photography.  If you mention a new area to us we will be happy to research the photography locations available.

How far in advance should I book my wedding photographer?
Good question.  Generally during the busy wedding months between October and April each year our couples book their weddings between 6 months and 24 months in advance.  This doesn't mean that if you contact us less than 6 months before your wedding date that the date won't be free but it always a good idea to contact us directly either by phone (03) 9759 7695 or 0418 557 924, via email or via one of our many online forms (get a quote, book an appointment, request a brochure, general enquiry)

Do you offer more than just wedding and portrait photography?
